Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas... perhaps... means a little bit more." (the Grinch)
We had so much fun building gingerbread houses with our favorite people (uh, Nathan and Jessica..) this last week. It really helped to get me back in the Christmas spirit. I have been kind of out of it this year with all the stress and unpleasantness of it. This year, we won't be doing a whole lot for Christmas, but like the Grinch said-Christmas doesn't come from a store. I have been humbled this year into remembering that Christmas is about the birth of our Savior. In this day and age, it is so easy to forget about Him and all that He did for us. I know that I need to take the time to remember that every day. It might make life a touch more pleasant. So, thanks for the gingerbread you two. And thanks for bringing your cute baby. It made my day! (of course.) On a lighter note, Tim and I are going to my mom and dad's in TWO DAYS! I love it! I am so excited to see my parents and my cat! And everything else! So, Merry Christmas to all-and to all, uh, other stuff too.

I must say that I am extremely impressed with your gingerbread house making abilities. I definitely think you're talented and by the looks of the house very crafty.
Love the gingerbread house (and the cute pic). But mostly I love the reminder of what Christmas should be all about. Have a wonderful time at your parents, & tell them hi for me. Merry Christmas!!
your gingerbread house is better than ours.. expecially that yellow bird on the back!! thanks for the reminder of what Christmas is really about, I've been stressing over small stuff. Be safe going to your mamas.
Hmmmm...what letter for you? How about L? I can't wait to see your list.
